After clearing we test drainage, clean nearby fittings, explain the cause and offer practical measures to stop repeat blockages, all backed by our 12-month warranty.

Local knowledge and proven methods
Ten years serving Reading means we know local pipework layouts, common causes like root ingress and grease builds, and the right tools to fix them.
What we clear: sinks, showers, bath wastes, external gullies, downpipes and shared drains. We start with a visual inspection and use gentle rodding for simple blockages. For heavier problems we deploy high-pressure jetting to remove grease and debris, or a CCTV survey to locate collapsed pipes or root intrusion.
If you need to contact us, call 07411250944 for a same-day visit, or email info@nelcoplumbing.com. Every job is carried out by trained plumbers and is fully insured and backed by our 12-month workmanship warranty.
Preventing future blockages: simple changes make a big difference. Fit hair traps in showers, avoid pouring cooking fat down the sink, and do not flush wet wipes down toilets. If tree roots or a damaged pipe are the cause, we will recommend the correct repair or replacement to stop repeat visits.
